Safety Orientation
In order to ensure user safety, regardless of prior experience, all users must attended safety orientation before starting their work in CFL. Topics include Escape route, Emergency responses (Fire, Gas leakage, Chemical spill, Power failure), Clothing and Proper practice.

Operation training
After attended and passed Safety Orientation, all users must be trained on the equipment prior to usage. A comprehensive training including both theoretical course and practical demonstration would be provided, in order to facilitate proper usage of equipment.

Booking system orientation
The equipment booking and charging in CFL are managed by HKUFBS. Users will need to attend booking system orientation before they can access the system and reserve their trained equipment. Detail will be covered in CFL Safety Orientation.
